We began by researching the market to understand how the competitors currently support potential home buyers in the buying process and what they lacked. The goal was to identify unaddressed user needs and build our MVP scope up on these.
Working with another designer, we defined the style guide, visual language and component library to build Effi. We wanted to create a brand that would stand out from the competitors while feeling trustworthy and playful.
With our MVP Scope we wanted to mainly target potential home buyers without much knowledge of what it takes to buy a home. We designed features like a personalized dashboard offering a clear overview of their options, calculators to estimate the buying budget and property market value, as well as tools to compare financing options from different banks.
