In celebration of the UN's 75th anniversary, UN DPPA partnered with the Design Futures
Initiative (DFI) to challenge designers and futurists to envision speculative artifacts that
imagine novel futures for sustaining peace.
Challenge & Outcome
We created “In Peace, We Believe” an interactive toolkit inspired by Major Arcana cards that serves as a
modern and innovative approach to facilitat conversations around conflict prevention, peace
mediation, and peacebuilding. It’s designed to be easy to use, helping everyone from leaders to
communities have better conversations and find ways to prevent and resolve conflicts.
